Quite spontaneously, Lara moved from Milan, Italy to Los Angeles, eventually finding her way to New York City, now her permanent home.  She recognizes the cliche’, but was drawn to the “land of opportunity,” and has grown attached to the melting pot culture of New York, which she finds both intense and inspiring.

Italian born Lara Scotton has always loved to draw; in fact, she has an early memory of her Dad having to cover the walls when she was a child since she had drawn all over them. Lara has spent time experimenting with oil, acrylic and watercolor paints. She notes that the study of watercolor and pencil painting is especially helpful in the study of shading in the art of tattoo, the art form she has been immersed in since the age of 20. Inspired by all forms of art, photography, painting, street art and architecture, she enjoys the private and personal nature of tattoo art creation. Each piece is a personal bond between she and the client, and she feels attached to every piece she creates.
